Even though Dylan lost the Intern of the Year award to him, she plans to win the honor of chief resident and boost her chances of securing a fellowship spot.

Quinn Parker is a third-generation doctor but somehow still disappoints his parents with his pedestrian goal of becoming a cardiologist. A more elite and lucrative specialty would have been preferred. The competition for a spot in cardiology is fierce, and Quinn knows that securing the chief resident role will make his application for cardiology fellowship more desirable.

They are both shocked when they are asked to plan the annual wellness retreat…together. Will they be able to set aside their differences long enough to complete the task? Surprisingly yes, and with plenty of spice along the way. But what will happen at the end of the year, when only one can be chief resident?

Their bond forged during the rigors of training has stayed strong well into attending life. More recently, they realized a shared love of contemporary romance. Since the old medical training adage of “See one, do one, teach one,” has been drilled into their heads, after reading enough rom-coms they thought they could write them. And here they are.
